The one that started the legend. When the original Jekyll & Hyde launched in 1997, it was the first effects pedal to combine overdrive and distortion in a single housing with truly independent channels. Players immediately understood the concept — and so did everyone who tried to imitate it. The V2 generation refined both circuits and added the series noise reduction system. A quarter-century later, the design still holds up.
The V2 Series noise reduction system is triggered by signal presence on each channel independently — it drops the noise floor when you stop playing without affecting the attack or sustain of your notes.

"By far the BEST distortion/overdrive ever. Haven't even really had that much time to tweak it and it already sounds 100 times better than any pedal I've ever spent hours and hours tweaking."
