Chainsaw Distortion

Full-Bodied Distortion · Surprisingly Musical

Despite its name, the Chainsaw Distortion is one of the more musical distortions in this price range. Creamy, full-bodied, with a well-balanced frequency response that keeps the low-end powerful without getting muddy, the mids present without becoming harsh. The name references the raw character available when pushed hard — but the Chainsaw's range starts at polished, compressed distortion and escalates from there. An accessible entry point into distortion tones that once required significantly more investment.

GarageTone Chainsaw Distortion

More Musical Than The Name Suggests

The frequency balance is deliberately calibrated to sound correct at any volume — a design choice that separates it from budget distortions that only sound good at bedroom volumes or full stage output.
